The plasmonic-photonic mode coupling and the sensing performance of Au nanoslits/distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) around the Rabi splitting (RS) generated by surface plasmon polariton (SPP) and Tamm plasmon states (TPs) were investigated. In the RS region, some original TPs electromagnetic fields were extracted, reducing original SPP fields while generating TPs-like fields in the DBR. Through the spectral integration method, the bulk sensitivity at the region of RS and outside of RS (period of 600 nm) are 403 and 203 nm/RIU, respectively. That is, hybrid SPP-TPs mode provides enhanced evanescent field than single SPP mode.
