The High Contrast Imaging Balloon System (HiCIBaS) is a balloon-borne telescope whose main goal is to demonstrate the usability of high contrast imaging equipment on board a stratospheric balloon flight for exoplanet observations. In collaboration with the Canadian Space Agency, this balloon-borne telescope project continued its quest to push the boundaries of near-space exploration and will continue to do so. This presentation will showcase the achievements of the second iteration of the HiCIBaS project (HiCIBaS-II), as well as the ideas for a future mission.
