Abstract
The energy measurement result of high-energy laser is influenced greatly by heat loss as the laser pulse duration is very long. The effect of heat loss, including heat radiation, thermal conduction, heat transfer, on energy measurement result of long pulse high energy laser is studied in this paper. The corresponding data processing model is given to correct the measurement result. An experiment setup is built up. The result shows that the measurement uncertainty will be reduced greatly by data processing.
