Erick Reyes-Vera was born in Cucuta, Colombia. He received the B.S. degree in Physic Engineering in 2009 and the M.Sc. degree in Physics in 2014 from National University of Colombia. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in the National University of Colombia, Bogota campus. Since 2013, he joined at the Department of Electronic and Telecommunications, Instituto Tecnologico Metropolitano, Medellin, Colombia. His research interests include Ultra wide-band antennas, wireless passive sensor, antennas and filter with metamaterials, fiber optic sensors, telecommunications system and development of new devices. In his research areas, he has 18 articles and 4 conference papers.
He has served as a reviewer for several journals including applied optics, optic express, International Journal of Multiphase Flow, Optical enginnering, journal of progress in electromagnetic research (JPIER), Ingeniare and IEEE sensors.
